Because Sometimes the Editing is the Creative Release. @moldivapp = Virtual Coloring, One of My #GlamBag Philosophies is That We Should Enjoy Doing Our Make~Up. We Should See it as Something to Enhance the Things We Love About Ourselves Not Cover the Things We Hate, #Perspective.

I LOVE Playing w Different Looks via Cosmetics, but I Also LOVE Playing w the Images, Distorting, Etc. Its the Closest We Come I Think to Having a Say in Our Molding, if Even Just Digitally.

I'm In 💖LOVE💖 w the Look of the @stilacosmetics #MagnificentMetals #GlitterAndGlow #LiquidShadow in #BalletBaby!! It is #Pink, #Sparkly, & Stayed On for a Respectable Amount of Time for a Day That Included Crying, Sweating, & a Nap (it was a long day, lol). In This Pic I Combined it w @tartecosmetics Shadow from the #MakeBelieveInYourSelfPalette in #Fairy, @elfcosmetics Pencil #ShimmerEyeLiner in #Purple/Plumb & @lorealmakeup #Voluminous #Mascara in Black. This is Only the Third Time Maybe That I've Worn the #Stila #LiquidShadow So, There is More "Testing" to Be Done Before I Give it Full #GlamBag & #DiscountDiva Approval, but So Far, So Good. Just for the FYI My Lips are @revlon #HDGelLipStick in #Twilight, Lined w @jordana_cosmetics #LipLiner in #Cabernet.

All That to Say, My Poor Little Tootsies Are Forever Jacked & Require a Little Extra Love. I've Used the Ol' Vaseline w Socks, the Lemon Grass Oil Roll Up Thingy, Amope, & This Stuff, #oKeeffesHealthyFeet, Applied After a Good Ol' Fashion Pumicing & They Feel Brand New!!! Pedicure Equivalent Soft & Smooth!! I've Been Using it for Almost Two Weeks, Purchased @walmart for Just Under $6 or $7.00. Far Cheaper Than a Pedi!!! Hope This Helps in Future at Home Pedi's or Just General Everyday Foot Pampering.

~ Glam Bag Review ~ Tarte Cosmetics ~ Make Believe in Yourself Shadow Palette ~

Thanks to the Ibotta Ap I was able to score the "Make Believe in Yourself" shadow palette by Tarte Cosmetics from Sephora. To say that I am loving it is a serious understatement. The packaging is gorgeous, the shadows are clay based so there is minimal fall out. They smell wonderful, are pigmented beautifully and aren't the kind of shadow that you have to take dozens of swipes across the lid to get color to show. One swipe and you know what you are working with in this product. I am a fan and will be posting its praises for a while. I def recommend your giving Tarte shadow's a try if you get the chance. I purchased mine via ebates with a Sephora gift card from the Ibotta ap. So, I also got a percentage of my purchase back. I compared prices, bonus', etc. between the Tarte site, Ulta and Sephora and ultimately chose Sephora because of the freebies that they threw in with the purchase. To learn more about the ibotta ap and ebates just type either into the blogs search bar and a list of past posts will display for you to cruise. Legit, I was able to get this palette because I allowed the received cash back from my normal grocery shopping to add up, which doesn't take long. And even with the use of a gift card, I got cash back via ebates!! I mean....why everyone isn't using ibotta and ebates I'll never know.

Now, I'll Say it Again, @tartecosmetics if You are Trying to Win My Heart, You're Giving it a Real Solid Effort That I Respect. #MakeBelieveInYourSelfPalette is So Magical. I Can NOT Wait to Try All These Colors. On My Lids are Marvel (Gold), Dream (Shimmery Blue/Green) & High Lighter fr the Same Palette on Brow/Cheek Bones. Eyes are Lined w @elfcosmetics Pencil #ShimmerLiner in #Bronze. Mascara is @lorealmakeup #Voluminous in Black. I'm Kinda Loving This Tinker Bell-esq Version of a "Smokey" Eye. I Think I Shall Dub it "Smoke by Tink", but We Will See. I Think My Green Eyed #BeautyQueens Would Also Love This Combo Even if They Aren't Gingers. I'm Brunette & I Think it Works w My Natural Color Combo as Well.

I will continue to play around with the palette and share its amazingness via my socials. If you don't follow me on Insta head over and find me, StacieTennessee, for Glam Bag, Motivation Monday, New Music Monday and more posts and alerts!!

~ Thank You from My Jaded Heart ~

It has happened several times in the last few months and I've meant to sit down and write this each time, but I allow myself to get distracted. Tonight however I gave JD his meds, took my meds, put the T.V. on mute and set out to write this quick thank you to a few people I don't even know. Several times in the last four or five months I have gone to pay for something and the person in front of me has already paid for me. Both times it was a stranger that I didn't even see the face of. So caught up in my own things I have no idea who to thank for such random, kind, generous, heaven sent, acts of kindness. It may have only been ten dollars this time, but to me that is a few gallons of gas, a bag of kibble for Jack Davis, Mothers Day Cards, or a Dr. visit payment. To me, it was no small thing. Both times it has been on a evening where I am feeling as though there is barely anything in my cup left to pour out. Both times I had been struggling to even go purchase the items purchased or just push it off till later. Both times the cashier was just as surprised, confused and touched as I was. Most recent when I asked the cashier "why?", he seemed as baffled as I was, unable to really make a complete sentence to answer me and staring somewhat completely confused at the receipt. Out of equal bafflement I say "thank you" to the cashier and move about my way.

What does it say about the state of my heart that I would be so taken aback by a strangers, random act of kindness?! Why am I so baffled by something we are all suppose to be doing every day? I try to perform random acts of kindness. I try to have intentional relationships. I try to give as much as I get and still, my heart and my mind are baffled by someone else sharing my heart on the matter by way of action. I always say that folks like to think that they are good in a emergency, but that you really never know until you are in one. I am guessing my new philosophy on the current state of my heart is similar. I didn't know how hurt, tired, hopeless and jaded my little heart was until someone did for me as I so desperately try to do for others. Does that make any sense? Am I even saying this right?

What does that say about my relationship with God? I've said it before that sometimes we get hung up on our abilities, opportunities, accomplishments, etc. and tend to live as if the Lord is lucky to have us out here doing things on His behalf. I mean what would He do with out me???!!! How egotistical are we??!!! or, am I, at least?! When what we should really be thinking is how lucky we are that the Lord would choose us, allow us, prepare us and provide for us to be out here doing things on His behalf. I suppose that's where my heart had gotten. Isn't the world so lucky to have me out here doing good deeds and loving on people?! I'm such a moron!!!

I am grateful that the Lord continues to allow me opportunities of ministry as I stumble through my journey here on Earth. I am grateful that the Lord continues to allow me to be ministered to, as I stumble through my journey here on Earth. What a privilege it is to be a child of His.

So, to the people who have surprised me with their generosity, kindness, and challenged me with their selflessness, thank you. Thank you for paying those two checks for me. You may never know what a blessing it was. Thank you for reminding me to pay it forward with no expectation. Thank you for remaining a stranger so that the act doesn't get broken down and questioned till there is nothing left of it, as my ridiculous human mind can tend to do.

I pray that the Lord uses my down moments, sick days, insecure days, missteps and at times cluelessness to bring Him glory, and to reflect His Love back to His children. I fear if He does not use those things then there will not be much of me left to use. If even it is my flaws that get them to You Lord, I will do my best to find contentment in being flawed.

I love y'all and am grateful for your friendship, love, and faithfulness to The Faith Journals. I started the blog to document my journey of faith. That should include the valleys as much as the mountain tops because with out one we do not have the other. Have a beautiful week loved ones!!! Pay it forward some day this week. You never know who is in desperate need of a surprise act of kindness.

~ Glam Bag ~ I Walk the Line ~ Eye Liners ~

I'm unsure where you are this weekend, but where I am is grey, cold, and wet. I actually love this kind of weather and have full intentions of treating the weekend like a snow day. Especially since we didn't get any "real" snow this Winter. Jack Davis is cuddled up in a fleece blanket, once again cursing me I am sure, for getting his Summer grooming a tad too early. I may have to break out his Christmas sweater for him to wear the next few days. I have Investigative Discovery on in the background, my newest addiction, and a tummy full of KFC from dinner making me all feel all cozy and ready to knock a few things off of my "virtual" to-do lists.

New Music Monday is taking a break for the month of May and with that I plan to get a few other projects started and a few finished. Starting with tonight's post, "I Walk the Line" a review of eyeliners. Remember, I do this so you don't have to, LoL!! Gonna start with a few colorful options for this Spring/Summer season.

Revlon Photo Ready Kajal
in Matte Marine

I can already tell this is going to be one of my favorite go-to's this Spring/Summer. I like to wear a neutral liner on my top lid like black or brown and a color on my bottom lash line. For the bright months ahead I think Revlon's Photo Ready Kajal Pencil Liner in Matte Marine is a win. One end is the color pencil and the other end is a smudge sponge for a bright smoky look. I purchased this color last Summer, but hope to see it back on shelves this season. If not, you can always check revlon.com or sites like Sephora and Ulta. Also, when a color is discontinued it isn't always immediately done away with. You might not be able to find it in store, but they will have it online. So, you could check Wal-Mart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, etc. online as well. I paid around $5.00 and I had a coupon, of course, LoL!!! It is going to last a long while assuming I don't ditz out and leave it in heat, lose it or something.

Next, one of my new fave companies, e.l.f. ! I have become such a major fan of the e.l.f. cosmetics company that I don't even know where to begin with bragging on them. I suppose I will start with the quality of product and the amazingly affordable prices. You are going to be hard pressed to find another brand in a similar price range with similar quality of products. I have purchased e.l.f. products and I have gotten some freebies. I plan to gift some e.l.f. products and to continue using them myself. For today's post I am sharing two colors from  a five pack of shimmer eye liners. The pack was $2.00 for five pencils. Each pencil has it's own sharpener as apart of it's lid. That is another reason I LOVE e.l.f. They do NOT miss an opportunity to multi-task an item, packaging, etc. Pictured are the Green and Copper from the collection. It also came with Black, Purple, and White. There is just a hint of sparkle when applied in one or two coats, but of course, the more you layer, the stronger the sparkle. I think that the copper is gonna be one of my Fall faves w a brown or green smoky eye. Most e.l.f. pencil liners are about a $1.00 each if you don't come across a deal, which is not costly when considering the quality.

One of my favorite, basic, every day, creamy/soft  pencil liner is by Maybelline. It is the Master Precise Skinny Gel Pencil. It is SO SOFT!!!! It just glides on with the lightest guidance. If a pencil eye liner feels like a freshly sharpened no. 2 pencil then you either need to return the pencil or chill on the sharpening. Eye liner should glide on with ease whether it is liquid or pencil. I don't believe you should have to force it on if it is a quality product. Below I am wearing the Gel Pencil in Refined Charcoal. I wore it a lot during the holiday season and received compliments almost every time I wore it. This one will remain in my glam bag as long as it remains on shelves for purchase. I purchased mine at Wal-Mart and it was just under $7.00. Because it is a soft gel it doesn't last as long as a normal pencil/crayon liner would, but I vote still very worth it!!!

Maybelline Master Precise Skinny Gel Pencil
in Refined Charcoal
Almay Bright Eyes Defining Duo
in Mocha and Cream
Last in the pencil category of eye liners is Almay's Bright Eye's Defining Duo. I am wearing the Mocha in the picture above. I like using Almay products because I know they will not bother my allergies. They're made in the U.S.A. and as I said in a past post on my Insta, if Carrie Underwood wears them, then I probably should too, LoL!! But for reals, most if not all of their products are hypo-allergenic and often you can find amazing coupons for their products in the Sunday news paper!! This product has a new name now, I want to say it is in equivalent to "Wake Up Eye Liner". It costs just under $7.00, is a duo with a different color on each end, goes on smooth, and like I said there are almost always coupons available so, it isn't too much of a financial risk to try out.

Now, onto the liquid liners. I know that not everyone feels as though they can do a liquid eye liner, but for me I think that liquid liner is actually something that EVERY one could rock. I think it is classic, it can jazz up a look, as well as be worn every day.

Quick Tip: For those that consider themselves beginners in liquid liner application I recommend beginning with a product like Revlon's Color Stay Eye Pen. The reason I recommend this product for beginners is that the applicator/tip is more of a marker/pen applicator. It isn't flexible, it doesn't move with out your guidance. When you are practicing a steady line or playing around with a sharp cat eye, a pencil/marker yes applicator just gives you more control. I used this brand for several years prior to the brand I use now and will share with you later. This product ranges from around $6 to $10 depending on where you purchase. Revlon is another amazing company that frequently has coupons in the Sunday news paper or online. Another brand with the marker/pen applicator is eyeko London. I received this liner in a Birch Box. I like it, but while it is smudge proof it is not water proof. My eye's water all day, eeerrryyy day so I NEED a water proof liner.

Next on the liquid line is Hard Candy Walk the Line Liquid Eye Liner. I know this will be hard to believe, but I did not know that was the name for this liner when I chose the name for this series. I promise!! I went totally to a Johnny Cash place in my head when considering titles for a Glam Bag eye liner review. I mean, who wouldn't?! True Story. Anyway, Hard Candy is a brand that I recall from my teenage years. They had those little nail polishes that came with a gum ball machine ring on it. They were in every magazine and every star had their polish on their nails. As trends and time moves forward it seems it has been awhile since I last saw Hard Candy when it magically appeared in my Wal-Mart cosmetics isle. I was giddy!!! I was instantly thrown into a high school state of mind and wondered if I would have time to paint my nails during study hall. I have three or four Hard Candy products now and can say that they are quality!!! Another company that is realistically affordable for most fellow cosmetics junkies like myself. In the pics below I am wearing the Walk the Line Liquid Eye Liner in "Mirror Mirror". It stays put friends!!! In the top pic I layered it with a black liquid liner I'll share last and in the second I paired it w Hard Candy Chrome Eye Crayon, which....came with a ring!!! I was amped and once again transported to my locker outside of the biology class where it always smells like formaldehyde. Hard Candy Walk the Line Liquid Liner cost $6.00 at my local Wal-Mart. I have not seen it in similar stores. The applicator is paint brush-esq so, I wouldn't recommend it if you are still in the learning process of liquid liner. I would save it until you feel more confident with your liner penmanship.

Wet-N-Wild, once again, a blast from my past, but a brand that has upped their game in the ever changing cosmetics landscape. I have been surprised, and pleasantly so, to find brands that I had once considered a waste, upping their game. Yes, packaging matters. Yes, price matters. Yes, quality matters. No, it doesn't necessarily go in that order for importance. Sitting next to that Hard Candy display at my local Wal-Mart was my old friend, Wet-N-Wild. I was curious after my test with Hard Candy if this company had also upped their game. The display was up to date, orderly, the products appeared to be on trend and a variety that compared with others along the wall. Prices def wallet friendly, but in my opinion it doesn't matter if something only cost a quarter if it is poor quality. If it is poor quality that it isn't even worth whatever bargain you got it for. All that to say, my curiosity got the best of me so I purchased some Wet-N-Wild Mega Liner in Electric Purple. Yes, purple. Because I have always been a fan and believer of purple eyeliner. I had a pencil purple liner that I used all through college. When it finally ran out I nearly cried. Anyway, again with hesitance. Coming in just under $3.00 I can say that it was worth the risk. It is not waterproof or smudge proof so, it is one that you would want to wear perhaps on days when you don't have concern of tears or lots of eye rubbing, LoL!! Considering it was only $2.93 and I had a dollar off coupon I am o.k. with it not being water proof even though my eyes water all day eerry day. It has only encouraged my practicing a higher line on my upper lash. The applicator is a paint brush type of bristle. So, again, if you are still learning you may need to pass this one up, but if you are to the point where you are ready to practice with a different applicator this is a good one to practice with due to it's being so affordable. Another company that, as of late, has had coupons in the news paper.

Mkay, last, but not least on this long journey of liner, Tarte Maneater Liquid Eye Liner. It is the most expensive of today's offerings, but y'all.......it is well worth the $20.00!!!!! I know, $20.00 for a eyeliner???!!! I was taken a back as well, however, I had heard, read, seen so much that my make-up curiosity got the very best of me. Financed by some Ibotta rebates I decided to go ahead and try it out. I purchased it from https://tartecosmetics.com/ and they even sent me a awesome Unicorn Queen Floral Headband. I mean, Dear Tarte, if you are trying to win my love....consider me won!!! So, back to the liner, just today I wore it. I got caught in the rain, sweat, cried a little, and even took a nap and this liner is exactly where I left it, on my lash line and purring sweetly with a wink to the side. I can get it off with normal make-up remover face wipes yet it remains in place through out my day. I'm so impressed that I just wanna wear it all the time even when I'm not wearing other make-up. I don't, but I want to. Tarte is one of the companies on ebates so currently you get 4.0% of your purchase back. Sephora as well as Ulta also sell Tarte products. I did some research and they are priced the same at all three sites and all three offer free shipping with a certain amount purchased. All three also keep up with your orders and tally points each time you purchase with them that you can later cash in for more products. The only difference are with Sephorah and Ulta they tend to throw in some freebie samples with your order. Y'all know how I feel about a freebie. The Tarte Maneater Liquid Liner has a flexible fine pen-esq applicator. So, while it is pointed it is not solid like a marker. It is easy to glide across the lid as well as come back and do evening or fill in. I LOVE IT!!!! Imagine me singing that with a high pitch in the middle of Love like Cam from Modern Family.

All of today's liners both pencil and liquid are Stacie Recommended and Discount Diva Approved, but the above and beyond favorite of them all for this Glam Bag Series is Tarte's Maneater Liquid Liner. I am a fan, a follower, an addict!!!! I'm unsure I will be open to trying other brands after this one. That is how much I like it.

Last Quick Tip for the Walk the Line, Glam Bag Post: I apply concealer and e.l.f. Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer prior to applying any shadows, liners, or powders. Both help to keep my eye make-up where I place it. The e.l.f. Shadow Lock is legit like putting liquid silk onto your eyes and the skin around them. It is $2.00 both online and in store. I have tried other shadow primers from brands like Mary Kay and they did not work for me, but the e.l.f. brand totally knocks it out of the park with this one.

Sometimes You Don't Wear the Eyeliner
on Your Eyes. Sometimes You Use it for Whiskers.
Thanks for hanging with me on this one my fellow cosmetics junkies!!!! I hope that this information helps you as you plan your glam. My personal philosophy on cosmetics is that it should be more about bringing out the things you like about yourself than covering up the things you don't. As with everything else, it's all about how we go into things mentally. With or with out these liners you are a beauty queen!!!!

Like what you like. Boldly be, uniquely you.

For past Glam Bag posts feel free to type "Glam Bag" into the blogs search bar and a list should be brought up for you to check out.

~ New Music Monday ~ May 1, 2017 ~ May Day ~

I know that it is technically Tuesday, but I have decide that any day is a good day for a New Music Monday. I was man down yesterday with another migraine so I couldn't post this weeks musical offerings.

Lady Antebellum - "You Look Good"
fr  to be released, "Heart Break"

There is a lot going on in the music community now that Summer is right around the corner. Lady A is gearing up for a tour with Kelsea Ballerini and Brett Young service as opening acts. This past weekend Stagecoach took over California for the weekend. It is basically the country version of Coachella. Kip Moore, Maren Morris, Shania Twain, Margo Price, Willie Nelson, and many others graced the stages and rocked the audiences in the Cali heat with Kenny Chesney closing out the weekend Sunday night. I mean, if anyone is going to close out a beach-y, summery, Cali kind of weekend it is Kenny. Brothers Osborne are about to drop what I think is their third video and single from "Pawn Shop", "It Ain't My Fault". The duo has been teasing fans via their socials with quick clips of the vid. Already one can tell that it is going to be epic!! Maren Morris has added a second leg to her "Hero" tour to begin in the Fall with none other than her beaux Ryan Hurd as opener. The second set of dates will begin after her stint on the "15 in a 30" Summer tour with headliner, Sam Hunt. Also gearing up for a second set in the Fall is The Cadillac Three's Black Roses Tour. It hasn't been announced and with her currently working on new music I kind of wonder if a Fall extension will be made to Kelsea Ballerini's "First Time", tour.

It seems that with the warmer weather and Summer looming every artist out there has something in the works that they have just announced or are preparing to announce. Lots of artists on summer tours, running the festival circuit, writing, recording and releasing new music. I could list it all, but ain't no body got time for that. So, all that to say, New Music Monday is going to take a small break for the month of May. We need a little time to catch up on other projects and gear up for the Summer releases, concerts, etc. To catch up on New Music Monday posts of 2017 up to this point you can type "New Music Monday" into the blogs search bar and a list of past posts should pull up for you to cruise. If you have any artist you would like to see highlighted this Summer on New Music Monday posts please feel free to share in the comments or DM me via socials. Before we break I wanted to leave you with a clip from this past weekends Stagecoach. Shania Twain invited Nick Jonas to sing the part of "Party for Two" that is sang by Billy Currington on the original cut and video. I personally feel she should have invited Kip Moore though I am unsure he would have been able to retain his chill. Moore has shared on multiple occasions that he has had a crush on Twain forever, LoL!!! Which, let's all be honest, is kinda sweet considering all the fans who lose their chill over him. It's always nice to be reminded that the "stars" are just like us "fans".

For A While I Have Felt That Very Little in My Life is Actually in My Control. When That Happens I Always Cope w Creativity. Writing, Painting, Crafting, DIYing, Cooking, Baking, Drawing, Cosmetics, Music, Etc. Are All Avenues in Which I Can Feel Like I Somewhat Have a Say in How Something Begins & How Something Turns Out. When One Outlet is Frustrating Me Keeping Me From That Little Bit of Control I So Desperately Need, I Turn to Another One.

As of Late Its Been Drawing & Cosmetics. I Feel They Kinda Go Together in a Way. Colors, Shapes, The Creation of Pretty. I Write, but at the Moment it Doesn't Satisfy Like The Other More Colorful Options. Words Can Be So Final. So Harsh. Not Harsh Enough. Mistaken, Hurtful, Misleading, IDK if Words Are My Friends Right Now, but as w/ Art Its Really All Up To Interpretation. You Know, Eye of the Beholder & What Not.

Today When My Plans Feel Apart, As My Body Once Again Reminded Me How Little Say I Have in Things, as My House Reminds Me of My To~Do List, & As Nicolas Sparks Reminds Me Love isn't Always Fair, (there's NS marathon on tv) I Praise the Lord for a Couple Hours of Creativity & Control. Sure, I Could Excerpt Control by Doing the Dishes, but That Simply Isn't as Satisfying as Seeing a Page Covered in Images I Created w My Own Two Little Fat Baby Hands.

Thank You Lord for the Creative Control. Thank You For Allowing Me the Delusion That I Have Control Over Some Little Something. Thank You That Tomorrow When The RA in My Hand is Pissed I Spent Hours Drawing That You Have Already Provided Healing & Comfort.

What's Your Outlet? How Do You Take Control?

I Believe I Shared This Quote Before, but it is One That is Worth Repeating. At Least it is in My Forever Fatigued World. Throughout My Current Health Journey & Even the Year or So Leading Up to It My Most Frequently Used Words Were/Are, "I'm Just So Tired.". Sometimes Tired or Exhausted Doesn't Even Seem Like a Good Enough Word for How I Feel. I Often Find Myself Telling the Lord & Those Around Me That I Am Just Doing My Best w What Resources I Have. So, When I Read This Sentence I Feel a Certain Kind of Relief. Its Alright if All I Have Left in Me at the Moment is a Little Portion of What I Use to Have to Give. He. WILL! Use. Whats. Left. Doesn't Matter if What Have to Offer is a Teaspoons Worth in Comparison to Everyone Else's Liters and Gallons as Long as What I Have Left I Am Giving Over to Him for His Use. "He Will Use What is Left.", SUCH a Encouraging Word.

~ New Music Monday ~ April 24th, 2017 ~ Musical Skittles ~

Are you under water? We are lucky to live on a hill, but parts of the town have serious flooding from all the rain this weekend. We came very close to putting Jack's life jacket on him just in case, LoL!!
Today was beautiful and sunny so, hopefully it helped to dry up some of it. I've been listening to a lot of different music this last week and haven't been able to hone in on what a theme for this week might be. So, I decided it would be more of a bag of musical Skittles.

Starting this week with RaeLynn as she just started her first headlining tour this past weekend called, "The Rave Tour". If you don't follow Rae on socials you should. She is always posting, sharing her day to day and loving on her fans. Today I am sharing, "Lonely Call" off of "Wild Horse" RaeLynn's first full album. "Lonely Call" is one that I wished I had YEARS ago to lean on. It speaks to being that person that is last on someone's list and the need to resist allowing that to be. It def struck a chord with me and thought it might with you as well. Give it a listen, a download and give Rae a follow! To find out details for her current tour you can head to her website. I tried to do a link and currently it seems there are some difficulties. So, just google her.

RaeLynn - "Lonely Call"
fr "Wild Horse"

Tyler Hilton - "Loaded Gun"

You may recognize this fella from One Tree Hill. He played the ever egotistical, but hilarious Kris Kellar. You may also recognize him from "Walk the Line" where he played a young Elvis Presley or the Gloriana's video for "Good Night" in which he co-stared with his now wife, Megan Park. In real life Hilton is a musician as well as actor. In the Series Finale for OTH his alter ego borrowed a tune from his real life in "Loaded Gun". I instantly loved everything about it. It is still one that I listen to multiple times a week. I think it is clever, I love the sound, it's like a train barreling down the tracks and there is no where to run. LOVE IT!! Give it a listen and look Tyler up on Socials for his other tunes, shows, etc. A year or two ago, Noise Trade had a live album free for download and it did not disappoint. I recommend signing up for Noise Trade e-mails because it is a great place to hear new tunes, bands, etc. for free!!

I recently was chatting w a college friend on socials about Aerosmith and my love for their tunes. I recently got into a kick where I saved my faves on Spotify and play them in a shuffle over and over. I feel like this kind of music isn't being made anymore and she shared that she makes her children listen to such artist when in the car, LoL!!! And I fully support that, how else will they learn??!! I'm not a mom, but I support this parenting decision 100%.

At its release some of the lyrics qualified for a parental warning label, but now a days they'd probably qualify as a form of lullaby. Mkay, maybe not a lullaby, but you catch my drift. When I hear the opening riff to "Crazy", "Cryin'", or "Livin' on the Edge", I automatically go back to being home after school, watching MTV and not doing my homework until the ten minutes before my mom got home. I remember wanting so badly to be as beautiful as Liv Tyler and Alicia Silverstone from the video. At the time Liv was kind of everywhere and it hadn't been long since the scandal surrounding Steven Tyler (Aerosmith Front Man) actually being her paternal father and not Todd Rundgren whom she had grown up believing was her father. Big to do at the time. She was a runway and print ad Model, host of MTV House of Style, which I really miss BTW. Common' MTV lets bring it back. It's time. She also stared in two of my most favorite movies ever, no not "Lord of the Rings". "Empire Records" which I quote on the daily, "What's up with today, today?!" and "That Thing You Do" where she is a earlier, nicer, not slutty version of Penny Lane. Add in they hype of Alicia Silverstone fresh off her "Clueless" box office hit and I mean, this video was set to OWN the TRL Countdown for WEEKS!!!! I can hear Carson Daily now....ahhhh youth!! Anyway, in this bag of musical Skittles I just HAD to Share my current, revival or an obsession.

Aerosmith - "Crazy"
fr "Get a Grip"

Sam Hunt - "Body Like a Back Road"
fr TBA

I know that I have already shared Sam Hunt's current single "Body Like a Back Road", but I love it so much that if I am making a musical bag of Skittles it NEEDS to be in it. I love that he wrote it for his now wife Hannah Lee. I think it is super cute how he brags on her through out the song. IDK I just love it!! Hate all ya want, but I'm a fan!!!

Lastly, in this weeks post, in ode to the rain is Garbage's, "Only Happy When it Rains". Again, one of my favorite flash back songs and a anthem I sing EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. IT. RAINS. Every time. Can't even help it. First of all lead singer's name is Shirley Manson, that is totally a name made for rock-n-roll. How could she not be in a band?! Second it was an era of red heads with Shirley, Tori Amos, Annie Lennox, it was just a full on ginger fest, which I support cause I feel like now we just have Ed Sheeran when it comes to gingers. Someone should probably check on that.

Hope you enjoyed this random offering of music for this weeks New Music Monday. We will be back next week with more tunes! Until then, Rock On fellow Music Addix!!!

~ Glam Bag ~ Flaws and All ~ Its What Inside That Matters Most ~

First of All.....I'm Not Wearing or Posting My Glam for Approval. I Believe the Lord Has Given Me A Specific Voice to Share Different Aspect of My Life w/ and For Others Who May Be Similarly Struggling, Hurting, Feeling Like the Only One. I Feel That W Each Post of Something That I Love, Enjoy, Find Encouraging or Challenged By, I Am Showing Someone That It Is O.K. To Like What You Like Even if You're the Only One Who Likes It.

Beauty Queens, Second of All, You're Flaw-esome!! Sometimes I Feel If Not For My Flaws, I May Seise to Exist. Meaning That Often When Checking My Reflection All I See Are "Flaws". A Friend & I Recently Had a Discussion on Our Insecurities. When Did We Realize Them? What Makes Them Worse? How Do We Get Past Them? And One of The Things We Agreed On Was That How Much of What We See on TV, Movies, Magazines, etc. Doesn't Portray Visually, People We Relate To. At Least Not as Much as They Do People We Don't.

I Think Half the Reason Folks Look at Magazines, Constantly Flip Channels, Scroll Youtube, Troll Social Media, etc. is

1. Yes, We are Genuinely Curious About Others.
2. Yes, Its Entertaining. It Passes Moments of Boredom.
3. We Are All Looking for Someone Who Looks Like Us & in Finding That Image

We Get Validation to Look How We Look. If She is a Thick Chick its O.K. That I Am a Thick Chick. If She Has Sun Damage its OK That I Have Sun Damage & So On. I Began the #GlamBagSeries b/c I Didn't Grow Up w Siblings. I Didn't Have a Older Sister to Tell Me About Cosmetics, Hair Products, or That EVERYONE Battles Insecurities at Some Point. I've Read Multiple Times in the Last Few Months the Phrase, "be what you needed when you were younger". It Echoes w/i Me Every Time I Come Across It.

Today I am Pointing Out a Few of What I Consider to Be Flaws. Things I Do My Best to Ignore b/c What Would Lingering on Them Do Other Than Add Negativity to My Life?! Things That I Work Daily on Believing The Lord Could Use to Make Someone Else Feel OK. To Help Someone Else Feel Beautiful, "Flawed" & All. Keep in Mind at the Heart of it All is Christ. If We Don't FIRST Find Our Worth, Purpose, & Acceptance in Him, His Word, & Loving His People Then We Are NEVER Gonna Be Able to Find it Anywhere Else. Its Important We Keep That at the Forefront of Our Minds & Hearts. "To the One Meant to Love You, Your Flaws are Perfection", I Don't Recall Where I Saw That, but I Agree 100% w it.

Pictured Here is a Knot I Have Had on My Forehead Since I Was 5 or 6. I Was Goofing Off, Fell Off a Bed, Hit the Bed Post Before Hitting the Ground and Its Been There Ever Since. Drs Checked & Its All Good So, Nobody Panic, LoL!  I Feel Like Sheldon from Big Bang Theory Saying He Isn't Crazy His Mother Had Him Tested, AHAHAHAH!!! Anyway,  I Have Proof of Worshiping the Sun for Too Long, & These Hooded Eye Lids That Have Forever Made Me Look Like I Am Squinting in Pictures are Just a Few of What I Would Classify as Flaws. School Picture Day Was My Arch Nemesis.

Image may contain: text
Girl Defined

All That to Say, Who Cares? I Doubt Anyone Else Has Paid as Much Attention to My Hooded Eyelid as I Have. Cause, Who Pays Attention to That??!! Now, I Love My Eyes. These Hooded Lids Make it Difficult for Ppl to Know if I'm Looking at Them, LoL! The Knot of My Forehead is a Reminder of Being a Carefree, Risk Taking, Child. My Sun Scars are More Reminders of Beach Trips, Fishin on the Lake w My Papaw, Hanging at My Cousins Pool & So On.

I Believe That Through My Current Situation, Pain, Sickness, Doubt, Darkness, Flaws & All, God Must Have a Purpose. And the More Transparent I Am About the Hard Times the More Beautiful the Good Times Are. Whether You Love Make~Up or Never Wear It, Whether You are Healthy as a Horse or Constantly Fatigued. The List Goes On, but the Point is This, Until We First Find Our Identity, Security, Hope, Beauty, Confidence, Healing, etc. in Christ Alone We are Never Gonna Be Satisfied w Our Looks, Our Health, Our Life. It is a Rainy Sabbath Where I Am & I've Been Super Sick for Several Days So, for Today, Cause its a One Day at a Time Kinda Thing, I Will Rest in Knowing Make-Up or None, Over Weight or Right on the Money, Sick or Well, If I Search to Find Him in it All, I Will. Thank You Creator for Finding Me Lovely Even When I'm at My Worst Inside & Out. Loves, Find Your Confidence in Him & You'll Find No One Else's Opinions Will Matter.

My Hope w All This Babble is That the Images I Post Here Would Help Someone To

1. Care About How Jesus See's Us Before Caring About Anyone Else's Opinion.
2. You Maybe See A Bit of Yourself Either in My Pic or My Words & Are Encouraged & Comforted to Know You Aren't Alone. You Are Beautiful, Too. I'm a Thick Chick So, Its OK If You're a Thick Chick, Too. Make Sense?! Love Y'All!!!

Have a Beautiful Week Beauty Queens! You Are Loved!
